“These movies were not just idle entertainment for me, they were shaping the way I viewed the world.”
Morgan Ghan · On the films that inspired him
The adventure filmmaking of the late 1970s helped shape Morgan’s love of story and art. Black Point draws on that spirit: emotionally grounded characters, danger, discovery, and a journey that changes its hero.
A rugged coast.
An unforgiving sea.
Black Point’s world stretches along a rugged California coastline, where exposed cliffs, sheltered coves, working harbors, and the open Pacific shape the story’s nautical atmosphere. The sea connects these places—and gives the adventure its sense of distance, danger, and discovery.
